| 描述 | Bovine Pituitary Extract (BPE) is usually used as a mitogenic supplement in serum-free growth medium. Studies suggest that this compound contains growth factors required for proliferation of melanocytes. Additional experiments show that, in addition to its mitogenic activity, BPE displays antioxidant characteristics. BPE has been reported to provide protection against H2O2-induced cell death, protein oxidation, membrane fragmentation, and deoxyribonucleic acid damage. BPE is for research use only.It is not approved for human or animal use,or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures. |
