生化机理	L-Lysine is an essential α-amino acid,which is encoded by the codons AAA and AAG.Studies suggest that L-Lysine is a key building block in protein synthesis in which it acts as a base.The poly L-Lysine form can be used to suppress prion propagation in mouse models.This amino acid is often post-translationally modified producing analogues that serve different functions.These modifications include acetylation,methylation,ubiquitination,sumoylation,neddylation,biotinylation,pupylation and carboxylation.Furthermore,L-Lysine is a moderate serotonin antagonist,which suppresses its release from SR-4(5-HT4) receptors.
