Clone RG7/11.1 recognizes the Fc region of the IgG2b subclass of rat immunoglobulins. Other subclasses are not detected. The antibody is suited for the flow cytometric analysis of rat B cells expressing surface IgG2b, for example, memory B cells. The antibody can further be used for the indirect immunofluorescent staining and flow cytometric analysis of cells stained with primary rat antibodies of IgG2b isotype.
