 AdTx1 (rho-Da1a – ρ-Da1b)Selective antagonist of the alpha(1A)-adrenoceptor肾上腺受体alpha(1A)选择性拮抗剂AdTx1 (rho-Da1a – ρ-Da1b) is a 65 amino-acid peptide originally isolated from the venom of the green mamba, an African snake (Dendroaspis angusticep). AdTx1 is stabilized by four disulfide bridges and belongs to the family of the three-finger-fold peptide. AdTx1 has subnanomolar affinity (K(i)= 0.35 nM) and high specificity for the human alpha(1A)-adrenoceptor subtype and is 1000 times more potent on this subtype than on other adrenoceptor subtypes. AdTx1is a potent relaxant of smooth muscles.
