| Specificity | | The Signet anti-bcl-2 oncoprotein monoclonal antibody recognizes a membrane protein found near the nuclear envelope, endoplasmic reticulum and outer mitochondrial membrane which has been associated with the negative regulation of apoptosis, a common form of cell death in multicellular organisms. In normal tissue the Signet bcl-2 stains T-cells and mantle zones of tonsil and lymph node, as well as red pulp of spleen. This antibody was developed using the 26 kDa bcl-2 Oncoprotein.
