| Specificity | | Melanoma (HMB45) Monoclonal Antibody HMB45 reacts with a melanoma-specific antigen present in melanocytic cells and junctional nevi. The antibody does not react with normal melanocytes nor intradermal nevus cells. It is also nonreactive with other neoplasms including sarcomas, carcinomas and glial tumors. |
| Uses | | This antibody can be used for staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections fixed in neutral buffered formalin and is compatible with most commonly used histological fixatives. Choose a good quality enzyme-linked anti-mouse IgG1 antibody for detection. |
