The Bone Marrow-CD34+ cells are cultured for 7 to 8 days using StemSpan SFEM (StemCell Technologies, Inc.), a serum free expansion media for hematopoietic cells, with the addition of SCF (50ng/ml), EPO (2U/ml), IL-3 (10ng/ml), and IL-6 (10ng/ml) growth factors.
