SAI Catheter Plugs and Catheter Connectors:
Use SAI catheter plugs and connectors to insure secure catheter access and maintenance. The quality manufactured stainless steel plugs and connectors are burr-free to prevent tearing of the catheter end during insertion and removal. There is no more need to ‘hand make’ these critical fine components.

SAI Catheter Connectors: Stainless Steel (CP-gauge) or PEEK (PEEK-Gauge):
Stainless steel catheter connectors are designed to connect two pieces of catheter material or tubing together. They provide a secure friction fit for catheter materials including polyurethane, silicone, polyethylene, Tygon (PVC) or nylon tubing. For MRI or other applications where metal cannot be used, PEEK connectors provide an alternative to the stainless steel connectors. PEEK is formulated from polyetheretherketone resins and is rigid enough to be used as a catheter connector. PEEK also has great chemical resistance. These catheter connectors have some flexibility, but do not have the ability to bend like other plastics. When ordering insure the OD of the connector is at least 0.002” larger than the ID of the tubing for a secure fit. Softer materials such as silicone will require an OD of 0.004” difference.
