特点
多功能性： 对短寡聚核苷酸、长寡聚核苷酸和cDNA具有同样效果。可印迹有氨基修饰或无氨基修饰的寡聚核苷酸。DNA耦合无需UV交联或烘烤步骤。
重复性：玻片间差异极小，不到3%CV
灵敏度：在4μg总RNA中可检测1pg RNA
特异性：可区分同源性寡聚核苷酸90%（30-mer寡聚核苷酸中有3个错配） 

Corning® Epoxide Coated Slides are designed for covalent attachment of oligonucleotides (both short and long oligos, with and without amino-modification). 

The Corning® Epoxide Slide Starter Kit offers 10 Epoxide Coated Slides, 0.8 mL of Pronto!™ Long-Oligo/cDNA Hybridization Solution, and 0.8 mL Pronto!™ Short Oligo Hybridization Solution. This kit is being offered as a way of providing a low cost trial of critical components for the optimization of oligo-array production and the subsequent hybridization to labeled cDNA.

The Corning® Epoxide Slides work best when oligos are dissolved in 150 mM sodium phosphate, ph 8.5 to 9.0. A small amount of detergent may be added to increase spot size, depending on printing conditions and the type of pins used.

When Corning® Epoxide Coated Slides are used in conjunction with the Pronto!™ Universal Hybridization Kit, the following features are evident:
• Sensitivity to 1 pg target RNA in a 4 µg total RNA direct labeling reaction
• Interslide CVs below 10%
• Detection of low expression targets above extremely low backgrounds
