SuperchipMicroarray Slides are available with different surface chemistries:
1.Aminopropysilane
Surface modification is designed for microarrays fabricated with PCR products, oligonucleotides*, and proteins as probes. Available on Ultra Clean, ES or HD surfaces.
2.Epoxysilane
Surface is modified with a uniform layer of epoxide groups for attaching molecules by their amine end. This surface is useful for PCR products, oligonucleotides*, antibodies, and other proteins. Epoxysilane is the most robust of all of the standard substrates. Available on Ultra Clean, ES or HD surfaces.
3.Aldehyde Silane
Offers a uniform coating of aldehydes for attaching amine-modified oligonucleotides* or proteins. Suitable also for microarrays using cDNA, RNA, antibodies, cell lysates, etc. as probes. Available on Ultra Clean, ES or HD surfaces.
4.Poly-L-Lysine
Provides a consistent surface of poly-l-lysine, yielding a dense layer of amine groups. Ideal surface for ionic attachment of phosphate groups in the DNA or oligonucleotide* probe. Also useful for small molecules and RNA studies.Available on Ultra Clean, ES, or HD surfaces.
