AlumaSeal II sterile film for PCR and cold storage.

1.5 mil soft non-permeable aluminum foil film with strong medical-grade adhesive, AlumaSeal II film eliminates the need for heat-sealing devices or mats during thermal cycling. Each film measures 3.25 x 5.625 inches and offers sufficient sealing area for all PCR plates. Length between the perforations with end-tabs removed is 4.937 inches. Compared to other aluminum foils, Aluma- Seal II has less tendency to roll back on itselfwhen removing the backing paper and conforms well to the plate during application. Easily pierceable with single or multichannel pipettors and robotic probes. Heat & cold resistant, recommended for temperatures from -80º C to +120º C. Certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid- free. Excellent barrier properties, virtually no sample evaporation or drying. Sterile. Packaged in 4 mil tamper-evident bags of 25.
