描述微粒是羧基修饰聚苯乙烯微粒内部用铕螯合物染色而成。这些微粒共有三种标准直径，分别为 0.1、0.2 和 0.3 μm。这些微粒的激发波长为 333 nm，发射波长为 613 nm，拥有约 0.5 毫秒的超长寿命，是大多数荧光团寿命的约 10000 到 100000 倍。铕螯合物微粒的超长寿命使得它们能够应用于广泛的时间分辨荧光领域。

• 微粒采用内部染色，可确保的色彩亮度和色彩饱和度，从而提供更高的灵敏度和检测结果可读性，同时避免了酶法测定的相关问题。
• 内部染色防止了在水介质中产生渗滤，并可提供的表面免疫反应性。
• 染色工艺对免疫球蛋白 G 的吸附或共价耦合存在极少YZ或完全无YZ，从而确保蛋白与微粒的有效结合。
• 本品应用范围广泛，如临床诊断、免疫/组织学研究等。
