质量标准： 【产品介绍】Epidermal growth fact o r recept o r （EGFR） is 
a 170 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein recept o r 
tyrosine kinase that, activated by epidermal growth fact 
o r （EGF）, affects cell growth a n d differentiation 
（1）. Binding of EGF o r TGF alpha to EGFR activates 
tyrosine kinase activity of the recept o r （2）. The 
carboxy terminal tyrosine residues on EGFR, Tyr 1068, 
Tyr 1148, a n d Tyr 1173, are the maj o r sites 
of autophosph o r ylation, which occurs as a result of 
EGF binding （3）. Once activated, EGFR 
phosphotyrosines Y-1068 a n d Y-1173 mediate the binding 
of Grb2 to the EGFR. Another autophosph o r ylation 
site, Tyr 1086, is situated within the cytoplasmic domain, 
a n d is phosph o r ylated to a higher extent by c-Src 
than by EGFR （4）.
