The temperature range is perfect for cooling blood samples prior to coagulation. Equipped with a "press to set" microprocessor controller, this unit maintains 14°C for use in ligation reactions ａnd 17°C for storing oocytes. The seamless well functions as a small refrigerated bath ａnd fits perfectly into any laboratory ａnd on any bench. Because of the supplied domed lid, this unit can accommodate small beakers ａnd flasks, or up to three standard microplates when they are stacked.

By utilizing Peltier cooling methods, this unit maintains sub-ambient temperatures without the use of refrigerants. The Benchtop Cooler has a temperature range of –19 to 69°C with an accuracy of ±1.0°C. It will accommodate a maximum number of two blocks.
