产品概述：Synaptobrevin (aka VAMP) is an integral membrane protein ofsynaptic vesicles that plays a major role in the formation of larger SNARE complexes, alongwith SNAP-25 and syntaxin. Synaptobrevin hasbeen shown to be essential for two fastsynapse-specific membrane trafficking processes: fast exocytosis for neurotransmitter releaseand fast endocytosis that mediates rapid recycling of synaptic vesicles (Deak et al., 2004).Decreased levels of synaptobrevin in human hippocampus and cortex have been correlatedwith cognitive defects in Alzheimer’s disease (Sze et al., 2000)
