产品信息

Phospho-Serine Antibody, Biotin

Catalog #:

I03

Product

Description

The affinity purified rabbit anti-phospho-serine antibodies are conjugated to d-biotin. The conjugates are useful for detection, identification, and quantization of serine-phosphorylated proteins and peptides.

Species

Rabbit

Formulation

250 µg/mL in PBS, 40% glycerol

Immunogen

Phospho-serine-KLH conjugates

Purification

The antibody was purified with phospho-serine on agarose

Conjugation

Acetylation of the primary amine with the active ester of biotin (NHS-activated d-biotin)

Specificity

The antibody is pan-specific against phospho-serine. It does not cross react with phospho-tyrosine but does react slightly with phospho-threonine.

Applications

ELISA (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL); WB (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL)

Scientific Description

Serine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate serine to form phospho-serine, which is responsible for various signalling processes in eukaryotes. [1]

Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC.  Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if properly stored.

Phospho-Threonine Antibody, Biotin

Catalog #:

ICP9820

Product Description

Affinity purified rabbit anti-phospho-threonine antibodies are conjugated to d-biotin via N-acetylation. The conjugates are useful for detection, identification and quantization of threonine-phosphorylated proteins and peptides.

Species

Rabbit

Formulation

250 µg/mL in PBS, 50% glycerol

Immunogen

Phospho-threonine-KLH conjugates and phosvitin

Purification

The antibody was purified on phospho-threonine agarose.

Conjugation

Acetylation of the primary amine with the active ester of biotin (NHS-activated d-biotin)

Specificity

The antibody is pan-specific against phospho-threonine. It cross reacts with phospho-serine slightly but does not cross-react with phospho-tyrosine.

Applications

ELISA (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL); WB (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL)

Scientific Description

Threonine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate threonine to form phospho-threonine which is considered a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction.

Phospho-Tyrosine Antibody, HRP

Catalog #:

I02

Product Description

The affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-phospho-tyrosine antibody was conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The conjugates are useful for detection, identification, and quantization of tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and peptides.

Phospho-tyrosine antibody, HRP (I02)

Species

Rabbit

Formulation

250 µg/mL in HRP stabilizing buffer with 50% glycerol

Immunogen

Iodoacetylphosphotyramine-KLH conjugates

Purification

The antibody was affinity purified with phospho-tyrosine immobilized on agarose, followed by immune affinity absorption with tyrosine on agarose.

Conjugation

Reductive amination; HRP/Ab ratio - 10:1

Specificity

The antibody is pan-specific against phospho-tyrosine. There are no cross reactions with phospho-serine or phospho-threonine.

Applications

ELISA (1:1000); WB (1:1000)

Scientific Description

Tyrosine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate tyrosine to form phospho-tyrosine which is considered a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction.

Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at -20°C. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if stored properly.
