Product Description: This product is the BSA with the trimethylated lysine residues. The signal of the proteins with trimethylated lysine can be competitive inhibited by 50 μg/mL of this conjugates but not by 3% of BSA.

Scientific Description: In the biosynthetic pathway of l-carnitine, epsilon-N-Trimethyllysine hydroxylase is the first enzyme that catalyzes the formation of beta-hydroxy-N-epsilon-trimethyllysine from epsilon-N-trimethyllysine. This reaction is dependent on alpha-ketoglutarate, Fe2+, and oxygen.
